This version only contains a bug fix. It fixes the error that comes up when you tried to set up the sort order [introduced in 1.9.1].
 
 

This release add an add button on top of the list for quick note taking. It also fixed small bugs introduced by localization.

• [NEW] Add button on top of the list. This makes it quicker to create a new notes.
• [FIXED] Transalation errors.
• [FIXED] Changing settings value doesn't have any effect. This happened on phones that has non-english as default local.

If you can open the app from the Market App, but can't open the app from the shortcut or the main app list, you should try to restart your phone. Also remove the app shortcut on the home screen and create a new one after restart.
 
The solution above should fix it.

Version 1.9.0 is out. This version add a lot of localization feature. 
 
The app now includes German, Russian, Chinese, and Italian localization. Thanks for all the translator that spare their time to do the translation. If you found any bugs on the localization, please let me know.
 

[FIXED] Added permission to write to SD card. This resolves export to SD card issue for users with Android 1.6 (donut).

AK Notepad now supports the Quick Search Box in Android 1.6. You can now search the notes through the search box on your home screen.

If you update to ver 1.7.1, you will realize that the sort order doesn't work. Please update to 1.7.2 if you have this issue.
